Description

How would it look like if a planet got into the remains of a neighbour? Devastating probably. I tried to create another asteroid impact scenario. The point of view is a bit different than before. Anyway I do hope you like this wallpaper!

My first impression of this picture, when I opended the screen was just "WOW". I was totally stunned for a moment.

The concept of the art is just amazing. The first ting that graps your eye is the explotion on the right, of course. You see this incredibly done lightning effect and the strikes of light. Next you see the giant planet, which is affected. "Is it the earth?" you'll ask yourself. "Or proably another planet?" At the third look you see the details: your looking from another surface, probably a rock that was hit of the by the explosion. Or a moon? Or yet another planet? You'll never known, the art isn't commited to tell you.

The longer I look at this piece, the more respect I have for you. The lightning is great, warm colours on the right, colds to the left, little lightings on the may-be-earth (electricity?) and everything looks so...realistic.

This is just perfect. Not one detail caught my eye, that destroyes the perfection. Stunning, amazing, epic, impressive, realistic, - that's how to describe this artwork!
